He Has The Key

Are you struggling with an addiction or habit and you feel there’s no way out? Do you aspire to get to the top, working day and night yet it seem you might never get there? Are you trying to do away with a thing but it seem you are lost in it and there’s no way out? I have got good news for you.

The book of Revelation 3:7 (GNT) says “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: “This is the message from the one who is holy and true. He has the key that belonged to David, and when he opens a door, no one can close it, and when he closes it, no one can open it.

Whatever we struggle to get out of or step into can be likened to a room, with the door being the only legal entrance or exit. By our power, we can not get this door open nor can we shut it, it is a spiritual door and only with the help of God can we get it shut and opened.

Often times, we pray that God should open a door for us but we neglect the fact that we need him to also close some doors in our lives as they will serve as a distraction if not closed and there is the possibility that we will always find our way back there.

PRAYER: O Lord my God, as you open doors of opportunities in my life, I ask that you close the doors of distraction and keep them shut that they will never again be accessible to me.
