Made of Love

Mothers are women who inhabit or perform the role of bearing some relation to their children, who may or may not be their biological offspring.”

A child’s best friend
A daughters role model
A sons first love
And the custodian of the home

Free as a bird
She’s said to be
She’s always doing nothing
Yet her hands are always busy

Turning the house into a home
Making the family a happy one
Training the kids to be the best they can
And making sure her man looks good

She prepares breakfast
Sets the table for lunch
Serves dinner
And still lay the beds

Any girl can be pregnant
Any girl can be a mum
It takes more than having a kid
To be called a mother

Something tells me that
Wireless networks started with mothers
They have no prior knowledge of your thoughts
They just walk in to assure you that all is well

If you have a mum
She’s yours to keep
If you find a mother
Keep her, cherish her, love her and make her happiness your priority

Mothers are God sent
They are Gods earthly angels
Who cupids were made out of
For they (Mothers) are made of love

***This little poem is dedicated to my mum who is also my mother. I celebrate her as she steps into another year in her life. Surely, the goodness and mercies of God shall follow her all the days of her life and she shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever. Amen!
I love you mum 😘
