There are two sides to everything, the front and back, the head and tail. Without the head, there won’t have been a tail and without pain, there won’t have been a gain.
The bible made it clear that the cross has two sides, the crucification side and the resurrection side. Without the crucification, there would not have been the resurrection and if Jesus did not endure the crucification, he will not have been able to cross to the other side; the resurrection and we would have been left without a saviour and no forgiveness of sins.
The bible says;
“Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross! On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross, and he is now seated at the right side of God’s throne.” ~ Hebrew 12:2 (GNT)
When Jesus was crucified, the bible says, He (Jesus) did not give up but rather had his eyes fixed on the price at the other side of the cross because he knew that what was waiting for him at the other side supersedes (is greater than) the disgrace of being crucified on the cross and now, he is seated at the right side of God’s throne.
What are you faced with? What are you going through that you feel you can not take it no more?
Let this be your motivation, the pain you are going through today is what will qualify you for the joy at the other side.
Be encouraged by the way Jesus handled trials. Jesus endured the cross because he knew the joy at the other side is nothing compared to the pain of the cross.
Learn to do what is right and good at all times, in your homes, your work place and wherever you find yourself. It might feel hard and difficult now, you might even feel you are losing out but I assure you that the joy at the other side is greater than the pain and when names of people with integrity are being called, even where you know no one, your name will be mentioned for good.
