About This Blog

Welcome to TolaWrites.

This blog is not meant to serve as a medium to judge us but as a medium to educate and enlighten us about some true facts based on our various relationships; our relationship with God, man, money and materials.

This blog is meant to serve as an encouragement for us to be steadfast in our faith; to hold true to our belief, be sure of what we stand for and careful what we fall for.

This blog and any of its posts are by no means meant to portray the writer or writers as perfect beings (Philippians 3:12) but as individuals who seeks and strive to follow the truth despite his/ her shortcomings and are ready to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the living, for the Lord has commanded us to “Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all people” (Mark 16:15) and we understand this one thing, that this blog might be the first and possibly the only bible someone else might read, hence the need to always encourage, remind and keep us on the right path that leads to the kingdom of God.

To those who believe that the activities surrounding the preaching of the gospel are mediums to make the ‘Preacher’ rich and therefore deprive themselves and probably others from hearing the word of God, I will like to draw your attention to what Apostle Paul said to the Philippians in Philippians 1:18 (KJV), he said “What then? Notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretense, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therefore in do rejoice, yea and will rejoice.”

The Good News Translation has it (Philipians 1:18) as; It does not matter! I am happy about it—just so Christ is preached in every way possible, whether from wrong or right motives. And I will continue to be happy

Do not make the preachers motive your priority, nor concern yourself with his personal interest, what we should be concerned about is the word of God that says we should preach the gospel to all the living and since the preaching of the gospel to all the living is key, we should therefore find our joy in this one thing; that Christ is preached.

We should make it a point of duty to always go to the bible to find out if what is being preached to us has its root in the bible before following it diligently with all our heart.

In conclusion, my friends, fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable.” (Philippians 4:8)
